THE PROJECT AND PROGRAM “EXCHANGE” HELPS FAMILY SIMONOVIC IN PASI POLJANA Nebojsa Simonovic lives with his wife and two grandchildren, Milos, (student of Traffic scool, age 17) and Milica, (19 years old student of School of Economy) in very difficult conditions with 15.600 RSD family pension received by children after the death of their father, life in this family is almost on the edge of existence. Grandpa Nebojsa does not receive pension, because it lacks 14 months of service. After several years of worik in “Nisal”, was declared redundant and since then troubles began, that caused the failure to pay current bills for water, electricity and other utilities costs. Mobile team of the project of Palilula Municipality, composed of one physician , psychologist and lawyer, after conversation with members of the family awarded a one – time assistance of Municipality, composed of packet with food and chemical goods. According to Prof. Dr Igor Novakovic Municipality will help and this family to overcome and solve some of current problems. To children will be covered costs of issuing identity card, card transport, provided clothing, to grandpa Nebojsa will be given free transportation to the Bela Palanka to regulate the documents that are needed for health care. Municipality will provide help to children in order to continue formal education because they lost their father, who died 8 years ago and their mother give up the children and went. Palilula Municipality, within the project has three mobile teams on the ground which constantly touring socially and materially affected persons. Services includes medical assistance to vulnerable groups in time from 09am to 02pm: measuring blood pressure and blood sugar, providing medical advisory support, legal assistance. All necessary information about use of free services of mobile teams of the projects, citizens can get on phone number 018/244-587 or in their citizens offices. This project is financed by European Union, through Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, within the project EXCHANGE 3 and last one year. Because of the growing number of socially vulnerable persons, Nis` Palilula is on the bottom of the list whose residents receive per month below then 18. 000 RSD. |
